Effective date: May 14, 2026
Todij Video Navigator is an Android app created by TODIJ AI Technology Ltd to help users browse YouTube playlists, liked videos, and subscribed channel uploads with local-first caching and official Google authorization. Use of the app is also covered by the Todij Video Navigator Terms of Service.
What the app does
The app uses Google sign-in/OAuth and read-only YouTube API access to load YouTube library information for the user who connects their Google account. User-authorized requests are sent to Google and YouTube over HTTPS. The current Android release is designed as a read-only workflow for browsing, searching, sorting, and opening videos.
Data the app uses
- Google and YouTube authorization tokens needed to perform approved API requests.
- YouTube metadata such as playlist titles, channel titles, video titles, video identifiers, thumbnails, published dates, duration, views, and likes where available.
- Local UI state such as selected sources, cached results, and settings related to the app workflow.
How data is stored
The app stores workflow data locally on the device using Room/local storage to improve repeat-session performance. This local cache may include playlist metadata, channel metadata, upload-source mapping, and loaded video metadata. The app includes clear-cache and delete-local-data controls so users can remove this local data from the device.
How data is used
Data loaded through Google and YouTube authorization is used to provide the app's core features: source loading, local search, sorting, video opening, cache reuse, and account disconnect controls. Todij Video Navigator does not sell user data.
Retention and deletion
Cached YouTube metadata is intended for local workflow performance and can be cleared from Settings. Delete local data clears app-owned cache, loaded state, selections, and the current local authorization cache from the device. Disconnect account disconnects the app locally and clears local session/cache data. It does not revoke the Google OAuth grant; to fully revoke access, visit your Google Account security settings at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
What the app does not do in this release
- It does not request broad YouTube write access in the current Android v1 release.
- It does not provide YouTube video downloading.
- It does not provide offline playback of YouTube videos.
- It does not rely on unofficial scraping of YouTube watch pages for the Android release path.
- It does not bypass YouTube features or restrictions.
- It does not operate a TODIJ developer backend/server for user YouTube data in the current Android release.
- It does not use ads or analytics SDKs in the current Android release.
User controls
- Disconnect account
- Clear cache
- Delete local data
These controls are available in the app Settings area and are intended to help users manage local workflow data and authorization state.
Third-party services
The app uses Google authorization and YouTube Data API services to provide YouTube account-library features. Users can review the related Google and YouTube terms below.
